This Privacy Policy explains how “Hayaa” (operated by Ada Corporation) collects, stores, protects, and shares your information, and with whom we share it. We recommend reading this Policy together with our Terms & Conditions of use.
When you use the Hayaa mobile app or any of our digital products and services (such as our features or surveys), we collect certain information about you. You may also choose to use the App to share information with other users, including your friends and contacts (“Users”). We may also need to share your information from time to time, as described below.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Registration information
When you download the App and create an account (“Account”), we may collect certain information (“Registration Information”) about you, such as:
- Name
- Username
- Email address
- Mobile phone number
- Gender identity
- Date of birth
- Partner preferences
- Photos
- Location
- Login credentials for any social-media account you connect to your Hayaa Account (for example, your Facebook or Instagram account).
Once you have signed up, you can review and change this information at any time by signing in to Hayaa — except for your date of birth and location (which, if you have granted Hayaa access to your location in your device settings, are updated automatically based on your device's location). It is your responsibility to keep your account details accurate and up to date. If your phone number changes, please update it in your account.
The information we collect helps improve the App's functionality and verify our Users. Registration information such as your partner preferences, name, and username may be visible to other Users who view your profile page.
In addition, while improving the relevance of recommendations, it is possible that we will collect personal data such as:
- Age, marital status, ethnicity, country, religion, and medical conditions
- Biometric information
- Internet or network activity, such as browsing history and interactions with our Site and App
- Geolocation data, such as the location of your mobile device
- Audio, electronic, visual, and similar information, such as photos and videos
- Professional or employment information, such as employment history and previous employers
- Non-public education information
- Inferences drawn from any of the personal information listed above to create a profile or summary of, for example, an individual's preferences and characteristics.
1.2 Profile information & safety
We urge you to be careful with the information you include about yourself on your Hayaa profile. We don't recommend listing email addresses, URLs, instant-messaging handles, phone numbers, full names or addresses, credit-card details, ID numbers, driver's-licence details, or other sensitive information that could be misused. When you post information about yourself or use messaging to communicate with other Users, the personal information you share is at your own risk. See Section 4 for more about who can access what you post on Hayaa.
1.3 Purchase information
If you choose to buy one of our premium services, we will process and securely store your payment information to prevent fraud and for audit/tax purposes. If a transaction fails, our system may flag it as suspicious. The user will be notified that their transaction could not be processed and may contact Hayaa to question the decision.
1.4 Geolocation information
If you have granted Hayaa access to your location in your device settings, we may collect information about Wi-Fi access points and other location-related data, and may store your device's coordinates to offer you certain features. This helps us identify your physical location and personalise the App so it's easier for you to interact with users near you.
If you have given Hayaa access to your location but want to disable it, you can do so:
- iPhone — Settings, Privacy, Location Services, Hayaa
- Android — Settings, Location, Hayaa, Permissions, Location
1.5 Device information
We may collect information about your device when you use the App, including device identifier, device model, operating system, and location. If you allow access, the App may also access your device contacts to help include people you know in match recommendations.
1.6 Links
We may track how you interact with links available on Hayaa, including third-party services, via click-through redirects or otherwise. We may share aggregated click statistics, such as how many times a particular link was clicked.
1.7 Facial data collected by Hayaa
Our App collects facial data in the form of images or video when you use the camera feature to take your profile photos. This includes face images that may be used to introduce yourself to other users and to verify the authenticity of users on our platform.
1.8 How Hayaa uses facial data
Collected facial data is used to display profile photos to other users in the App. This helps users see faces and decide whether they're interested in chatting with or meeting someone whose preferences match theirs.
1.9 Sharing of facial data
Facial data is not shared with any third party. It is stored on our secure, protected servers.
1.10 Retention of facial data
Facial data is retained while your account remains active. If you delete your account, your facial data is permanently deleted from our servers.

Information about the collection, use, disclosure, sharing, and retention of facial data can be found throughout this Privacy Policy, particularly in the “Information we collect” and “How we use your information” sections.
1.12 Our commitment on facial data
Facial data we collect is used only to display profile photos to other users and to verify user authenticity. We will not share your facial data with any third party without your permission.
2. How we use your information
Our primary goal is to make your experience on Hayaa enjoyable. To do that, we may use your information to:
- Offer our services and features.
- Contact you with information about the App (e.g., updates and new features).
- Personalise the App and the content we deliver to you.
- Conduct research and analysis about how you use and interact with the App.
- Resolve disputes, troubleshoot issues, and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
- Investigate fraud, protect our legal rights, and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
- Send you information about promotions and offers — if you have subscribed to notifications or told us you accept them. You can opt out at any time via Settings or via opt-out links provided in each message.
- Protect our users and third parties from harm.
Moderation practice
We review accounts (including photos and other information uploaded to user profiles) and messages for content that may violate our Terms of Use. If an account or message meets criteria suggesting the Terms have likely been violated, the account is warned and access is restricted and/or blocked. Affected users may contact Hayaa to challenge the decision. If you post anything that violates our Terms of Use, we reserve the right to terminate or restrict access to your Account.
3. Disclosure of information
Our policy is not to disclose your Registration Information or personal data, except in the limited circumstances described in this Policy.
4. What others can see about you
When using Hayaa, you should know that anything you post or send within the App can be seen and accessed by the public — both by users and non-users. Please be careful posting sensitive details about yourself such as health and income information. Photos you post on Hayaa may also reveal information about you.
Your Hayaa profile and other information you provide via the App, including information added through third-party accounts (such as Facebook, Instagram, or Google), can be viewed and shared by Users with people who may or may not be Users of the App. For example, someone may recommend you as a match by screenshotting your profile and sharing it with a friend, regardless of whether that friend uses the App.
If you sign in to or access the App via Facebook or another third-party account on a device you share with others, remember to log out of the App and the related third-party account when you leave the device, to prevent others from accessing your Hayaa account.
5. Age policy
We'd love as many people as possible to enjoy our App, but you must be at least 18 years old to use Hayaa.
If we learn that a child, minor, or anyone under 18 has registered with us and given us personal information, we will take steps to end that registration.
6. Security
At Hayaa we have taken appropriate security measures to help protect your information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, and disclosure. We use reasonable security measures to keep your personal information confidential — including secure servers behind firewalls.
Unfortunately, no website or internet transmission is ever completely 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorised access, hacking, data loss, or other breaches will never occur, but here are some practical tips to help keep your data safe:
- Make sure you sign out of your Account after use.
- Do not share the password you use with anyone else.
- Change your password regularly.
7. Your rights
Hayaa upholds the following rights for you:
- Right to be informed: what personal data is being processed by an organisation, and why.
- Right of access: you may request a copy of your data.
- Right to rectification: if stored data is inaccurate, you have the right to correct it.
- Right to erasure: you have the right to delete your data in certain circumstances.
- Right to data portability: you may request a copy of certain data in a machine-readable form that can be transferred to another provider.
- Right to object: in certain circumstances (including when data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests or for marketing purposes), you may object to that processing.
Specific rights that apply to you (which may include rights not listed above) can vary depending on your country. You should understand the rights you have under privacy laws applicable in your country.
To exercise any of your rights, please contact us. To protect you and our other users, we may need to ask you for specific information to confirm your identity before we can fulfil your request.
If you have concerns about how we process your request or your personal data, you should first contact us via the contact details listed in the App.
8. Data retention & deletion
We retain your personal information only for as long as we need it and as permitted by applicable law. Please refer to the “Profile verification (including biometric information)” section for our biometric retention policy.
When you delete your Account, or it is deactivated by us, we make sure it is no longer visible in the App. For up to 28 days, you can still recover your Account if it was deleted or deactivated by mistake. After 28 days, we begin the process of deleting your personal information from our systems, except where:
- we must retain it to comply with applicable law (for example, if you made an in-app purchase, some personal data may be kept for tax and accounting purposes);
- we must retain it as evidence of compliance with applicable law (for example, if an account was blocked, we keep some account information and behaviour records that led to the block — kept for evidentiary purposes if there are questions or legal claims related to the block);
- there are unresolved issues, claims, or disputes that require us to retain relevant information until resolved; or
- the information must be retained for our legitimate business interests, such as fraud prevention and improvements to user safety and security.
Note: Even after you delete information from your profile or delete your Account, copies of that information may remain visible to or accessible by others to the extent it was previously shared with them, copied, or stored. We cannot control and are not responsible for that. If you have given third-party apps or websites access to your personal information, they may retain that information as permitted under their terms of service or privacy policy.
