Welcome to Hayaa. By creating an account or using any part of our app or website, you agree to these Terms. Please read them — they protect you and the community we're building together.

1. Who can use Hayaa

• You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority).
• You must be legally free to marry.
• You must join with sincere intent of finding a halal partner.
• You must provide truthful information and a verifiable identity.

2. The Hayaa code of conduct

By joining you agree to treat every member with dignity. You will not:

• Share haram, explicit, or inappropriate content of any kind.
• Send unsolicited promotional, political, or spam messages.
• Harass, stalk, or coerce other members — online or offline.
• Impersonate anyone or misrepresent your marital status.
• Use Hayaa for any purpose other than seeking marriage.

Violations may lead to immediate account removal and, where relevant, reporting to local authorities.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of everything you upload (photos, voice notes, profile answers). You grant Hayaa a limited licence to display your content to other members solely for matchmaking. We never train AI models on your personal content and never sell it.

4. Paid features (Hayaa+)

Most features are free. Hayaa+ is an optional subscription billed through Apple or Google. You may cancel anytime via your store account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Safety & verification

We take reasonable steps to verify members but cannot guarantee any person's identity or intent. Always use common sense: meet in public, involve your wali or family early, and report anyone who makes you uncomfortable via the in-app report tool.

6. Account termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or put the community at risk.

7. Disclaimers

Hayaa is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep the service reliable but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, specific outcomes, or that you will find a spouse. Marriage is, ultimately, a blessing from Allah ﷻ.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hayaa's total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months (if any). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of South Jakarta unless local consumer law requires otherwise.

10. Changes

If we materially update these Terms, we'll notify you in-app at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of Hayaa after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
